Experienced Healer, Reiki Teacher, and Spiritual Guide
Michael’s spiritual journey began during a challenging period in his life when a long-term relationship ended. This experience led him on a profound path of forgiveness and self-healing that lasted five years. His transformation was deeply influenced by the teachings of Katheryn Ponders on forgiveness, which he discovered at Unity Church and applied daily.
Michael’s unwavering dedication to his spiritual growth was evident when he enrolled in a course led by Shirley McClane. Despite being one of only 100 men in a group of 1,100 participants, he persevered through numerous meditations and spiritual exercises. It was during this course that he met a woman who would become his spiritual teacher, living with him for 1.5 years and guiding him every evening after work. After eight months of intense practice, Michael finally felt the energy flowing from his hands, sparking a lifelong passion for healing.
Michael’s path led him to become a Johrei channel, captivated by the energy he experienced. He then studied Mari-El under Ethel Lombardi, one of the original 22 Reiki Masters trained by Madame Takata, the successor of Dr. Usui, the founder of Reiki. This marked the beginning of his healing career, where he volunteered at various alternative healing projects and facilitated a healing circle in Chicago for 10 years, working with approximately 40 people per night.
With over 30 years of healing experience, Michael has become a respected teacher of Reiki and spirituality. He incorporates a wide range of advanced modalities received through spiritual guidance. His journey eventually led him to the shamanic path, where he continues to evolve his healing practice.
Michael met Kathy over eight years ago when Spirit guided her to study Reiki with him. Through their shared spiritual journey, they became close friends, equals, and business partners. As healing partners, Michael and Kathy complement each other on many spiritual and energetic levels, drawing upon their extensive past life connections and shared healing experiences.
